Description
Coral Gables.
The journey will begin heading to Coral Gables, one of South Florida's most beautiful and historic neighborhoods, where it will drive by some of the city's most well-known tourist destinations, including structures designed in the Mediterranean style and massive tree-lined streets by George Merrick in 1925. Discover Miracle Mile, a retail area in Coral Gables that was named in 1940 and is home to fine art galleries and top designer stores.Visit Merrick House, the mansion of the neighborhood's founder, which has been converted into a museum.
Identify the Venetian Pool, which was built in 1923 and is designed in a Venetian style with a Mediterranean flavor. The pool was created on top of a coral rock quarry that was used to construct all of the city's houses.
Continue on to the Biltmore Hotel, which was erected in 1926 and is overflowing with luxury. It was once frequented by celebrities, but it also has a shady reputation, as it was here where gangster Thomas Walsh was murdered. It was utilized as a military hospital during WWII.
The Biltmore Hotel is still one of South Florida's most popular places, with the best brunch in the area served every Sunday on its gorgeous patio.
We won't leave Coral Gables without first going through the umbrella of beautiful trees, a scene that you may recognize from movies and television.
Will continue to Winwood Wall Art District.
Get a closer look at one of the most popular destinations for artists and art enthusiasts in the world.
More than a description, we'd want to share our thoughts on the walls of Wynwood in this tour.
If you are a true believer in art in its purest form, you must visit this magical location. When Tony Goldman moved to Miami Beach and New York's SoHo, he launched an initiative.
It was first held in 2009 to commemorate Art Basel, one of the country's most renowned art shows.
Wynwood is a neighborhood located to the north, on the periphery of the glamorous Downtown Miami. a previously decaying neighborhood that has become one of the safest and busiest places in the world.
Society is working hard to promote alternative and urban art. Strolling through its streets is like visiting an unending exhibition with a massive collection of murals covering the city.
Enjoy the more than 70 art galleries, antique shops, bars, and restaurants, all of which will astonish you with their variety and color. The best part is that it is outside underneath the open sky, allowing you to enjoy it to your fullest capacity.
Wynwood's skin is continually changing, and her paintings are updated every six months by new painters, the majority of whom are internationally renowned.
Explore this world of urban art, where you'll find its own authors starting or finishing their works while you are visiting.
Take your time to enjoy and explore these lovely and endless open areas.
For the visitor's convenience, we have left a list of the most popular and interesting sites.
