Description

If there is a place that personifies the harmony between calm and "movida", between tradition and modernity, that is Ibiza. In this excursion we propose you to explore the corners and most characteristic places of the White Island.

Belonging to the archipelago of the Balearic Islands, Ibiza is the island of beautiful natural parks, turquoise coasts and steep cliffs, all linked to endless party nights, quiet traditional villages and the most beautiful sunsets in the Mediterranean. The mixture of attributes of this millenary paradise, founded by the Carthaginians in the seventh century, is linked to its privileged enclave and climate; Not in vain has been a preferred destination for tourism for centuries, which has enriched its culture to make the island a delicious multicultural union. From its medieval buildings and incredible beaches, Ibiza awaits the traveler with open arms.

Come to our tour during your cruise, discover one of the biggest tourist spots in Spain, and keep an indelible memory during your trip. You'll love it!

PROGRAM

Arrival of the boat. Departure of the excursion.

The guide awaits you at the port with the sign "Shorexc".

Visit of the "Capital of the Hill", the main city of the "White Island".

Crossing its narrow stone streets, the tour begins with the historic Old Town, declared a World Heritage Site.

Fortress: The Renaissance wall that encloses the district of Dalt Vila is the most important monument on the island. Its construction, ordered by King Philip II, began in 1555 following the traces of the Italian engineer Giovanni Batista Calvi and concluded at the end of the century. The city had walls from the remotest antiquity and the new project surrounded and expanded the existing medieval fortification. Unlike the fortresses of the Middle Ages, made up of towers linked by walls, the Renaissance structure consists of seven bastions (arrowhead-shaped constructions), located at different heights, joined by canvases of walls and equipped with casemates (interior shelters for artillery).

Cathedral: The Cathedral of the Virgen de las Nieves or Ibiza, was built on the old mosque of Yebisah. It is a cathedral built in the thirteenth century with Gothic-Catalan style, although the nave is Baroque.

We will continue to the modern area, close to the port, with many shops, bars and restaurants.

Return to the ship.

End of the tour.
