Description

Come with us to know on this excursion the city of Trondheim, one of the most important and largest in Norway. It was founded in the tenth century, and during the Middle Ages was for a time capital of the country and seat of the Archbishopric. Formerly it was called Nidaros, name that still has its beautiful Cathedral, and will surprise you with its incredible beauty.

In the city you can breathe its millenary culture, but also its modern and commercial spirit. You will see the Gamle Bybro, a bridge with 4 centuries of history built in the same stage as the Kristiansen Fortress, after the terrible fire that destroyed much of Trondheim. The contrast of this beautiful city is evident at every step: next to its modern University of Science and Technology the visitor finds the famous Nidaros Cathedral, which began to be built almost a thousand years ago on the tomb of San Olav. Did you know that Trondheim is home to the largest wooden royal palace in Europe?

Discover with us the details and the most beautiful corners of Trondheim, and keep a fascinating memory of your cruise through the fjords of Norway. Book your place and do not miss this beautiful excursion through the history of the country. We are waiting for you!
