The Pulpit or Preikestolen is a rock formation suspended 604m above the Fjord of Light (Lysefjorden) and is undoubtedly one of the most visited places in Norway throughout the year. Preikestolen is located in the Ryfylke region, north of Stavanger. What you will see from the top of the imposing Pulpit is a stunning mountain landscape "falling" over the beautiful fjord, in the typical image of wild harmony that is perceived throughout Norway. This geological formation from the melting, with more than 10,000 years old, will show you from its imposing height the most beautiful natural memories you can imagine during your cruise through the fjords.

Arrival of the boat.

Departure of the excursion. The guide awaits you at the port with the sign "Shorexc".

We will leave by bus from Hidlefjord, passing in front of the central market and the oil museum building, and we will enter the Ryfast tunnel, HundvAg and the Solbakk tunnel (This tunnel is at a depth of 290 m below sea level and has a distance of 14 km.)

The bus tour is about an hour, until we reach the Prekestol (base camp), where our trek begins.

Once you have reached the parking lot, which is at a height of about 270 meters, the tour that leads to the summit of the rock begins.

Are you ready to make the trek to one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the world?

The trails are accessible to anyone with good physical condition, but it is a very difficult hike, with a distance of approximately 8 kilometers and a slope of 300 meters.

Your guide will accompany you throughout the journey to the Pulpit, through different natural landscapes adapting to the speed preferred by the group.
