Description
The Geirangerfjord is an incredible natural wonder. It has a length of 15 km and is one of the most touristic areas of the country. The landscape is a spectacle, and we take you on our excursion to get to know it if you travel on any of the Norway cruises.
Can you imagine contemplating an imposing fjord from different heights? The Geirangerfjord appears majestic when ascending the Eagle Road - the famous Eagle Bend - and its dizzying curves. Due to its peculiar orography, the views from different points of its route are simply incredible; on the mythical promontory of Flydal Gorge you can see the fjord and you can see the cruise ships that arrive in Geiranger. The special beauty of the Viking landscapes seems to transport us back in time to past times, and this feeling is accentuated on Mount Dalsnibba, more than 1500 meters above sea level. Surely when you visit this famous mountain you will think that seeing a lake of blue ice was only possible in science fiction movies...

PROGRAM
Departure of the excursion. The guide waits at the port with the "Shorexc" sign.
Eagle Bend: Ascending the so-called "Road of the Eagles", a road full of hairpin bends, we reach this point from which you can see a beautiful view of the Geiranger and the magnificent waterfalls of the "Seven Sisters".
Flydal Gorge: One of the most photographed points in Norway. You will get a beautiful view of the Geirangerfjord and the cruise ships.
Mount Dalsnibba: Elevated 1 500 meters above sea level is one of the highest peaks that can be reached by car. It is an amazing viewpoint of the surrounding mountains and fjords in the distance. During the journey you can observe the flora and fauna, blue ice lakes, geology, glaciers and itself, the view of the incredible peak.
Return to the ship.
