Description

On this incredible excursion in Bergen you will discover the beauty of the fjords of southern Norway. A fabulous tour of what was the capital of the country in the Middle Ages. This "gateway" to fjord cruises awaits you, with a magnificent tour full of surprises that you will not want to miss.

The city of Bergen was founded in 1070 AD. During the 12th and 13th centuries it was the capital of Norway. It was the residence of the Norwegian kings, who still enjoy a summer palace in the city, the "Gamlehaugen". It is currently the second largest city in the country (only surpassed by Oslo) in addition to having the largest seaport in Norway. In this thousand-year-old city you will discover the marvelous Flower and Fish Market, an example of avant-garde construction right in front of Port Bryggen. Faced with this Nordic postcard landscape, you will see why this city is a symbol of Viking charm, and you will be even more surprised by the views from the Fløibanen funicular, one of the greatest tourist attractions in Norway that will show you the entire bay of Bergen over more than 300 meters above the sea! You will be captivated by the charm of this "valley of the seven mountains", where the typical wooden houses of the Hanseatic Quarter coexist with the most modern residential areas; it's a great urban balance that the almost 300,000 inhabitants of the city enjoy.

If you want to keep a beautiful memory of your cruise through the Norwegian fjords, the excursion to Bergen will leave you impressed by its beauty and its exceptional atmosphere. An experience that you will never forget and that you will surely want to repeat. You cannot miss our guided tour in this charming city!
