Taormina is located on terraces from which you can see beautiful views of the sea and Mount Etna.

Tours of the city where you can appreciate the exteriors of:

  • Piazza del Duomo: is the square of the cathedral of Taormina. It has a small fountain and several bars, the ideal place to relax after visiting the city.
  • Plaza 9 de Abril: From here you can appreciate one of the most beautiful views of the city.
  • The Corvaja Palace: It is a medieval palace in Sicily, dating from the tenth century. The building was built by the Arabs, Normans and Catalans, and takes its name from the Corvaja family, known to be one of the most important aristocratic families in Taormina. It was the seat of the first Parliament of Sicily (1410).
  • The Greek Theatre: It was built in the Hellenistic era and was rebuilt almost entirely in the times of Roman domination. For the construction, the cuneiform geography of the hill was used; There are even steps of the polished steps directly on the rock. The view from the stands offers a panoramic view towards the Bay of Naxos and Etna in the background, weather permitting.
