PROGRAM
Departure of the excursion. The guide waits at the port with the "Shorexc" sign.
Arrival at Porta Napoli.
After a pleasant walk along via Palmieri where we can see palaces of the Baroque era with the characteristic leccese stone, we will reach the Piazza del Duomo.
We will continue along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II where we will pass by an artisan shop where papier-mâché is worked as centuries ago until we reach the Church of Santa Irene.
We will pass by the Basilica of Santa Croce, a Baroque-style building with a spectacular "horror vacui" façade, before arriving at Piazza San Oronzo with the beautiful Roman Amphitheater and the Sedile Palace.
Return to the ship.
