Description

Our excursion will take you to Santorini, a small circular archipelago, located in the Aegean Sea, formed by volcanic islands. It is currently one of the favorite tourist destinations in Greece, and has become a "must" for all cruise passengers.

Santorini owes its current shape to the collapse of the caldera of a huge volcano. According to legend in Santorini the lost Atlantis could be found, and the traveler who visits the island can believe it, given the natural beauty of its landscape and the wonderful surroundings. If we add to this the beautiful white villages with narrow streets, the churches and chapels, the fashion shops and the incredible beaches, we immediately understand why Santorini is that coveted place for international tourism in general. In addition, its warm inhabitants will make you feel at home. You can't miss this fascinating visit!

Come to our tour in Santorini and keep the best memory during your cruise through the Greek islands. Book your place for this great experience. We are waiting for you!

PROGRAM

They will take you some boats from the shipping company to the old port; right there will be waiting for you the guide with the sign "Shorexc"

Together with the guide, you will take a boat that will take you to the port of Athinios where the bus awaits you to start the excursion. In this way you avoid the endless lines of the funicular to climb and make more use of the time of the excursion.

Departure to Pyrgos.

Pyrgos was built on top of a hill and was, until the early 1800s, the capital of the island. The village consists of traditional houses built around an old Venetian castle and small streets that follow the side of the hill. From the castle there are beautiful views.

The village has many churches (about 48 counting the surroundings), the most famous being the Monastery of Profitis Ilias, due to a very valuable collection of ethnographic material and ancient icons on display.

Departure to Oia.

Oia is probably the most beautiful of Santorini's traditional villages. The village is made up of a maze of stone caverns, cobbled alleys and light-reflecting houses.

In Oia, you will find elegant and exclusive shops that, together with its landscape and views, make it a must-see place.

Return to the city of Fira.

The guide will take you walking to the central street of Fira and after the explanations, he will give you instructions for the return to the boat.

Free Time and Shopping.

End of the tour.
