About this tour

The Museum of Modern Art in New York City is home to the greatest collection of modern and contemporary art in the world. Following a recent major expansion, visitors can enjoy new galleries and relaxing spaces, a flagship MoMA Store, and much more. MoMA is located in midtown Manhattan near Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and Broadway; and across the street from the Hilton Midtown.

MoMA’s dynamic collection is home to masterpieces by Monet, Kahlo, Matisse, Dalí, Warhol, and many more. This year, visitors can enjoy new exhibitions featuring influential and iconic video games, rarely-seen drawings by Georgia O’Keeffe, exciting contemporary work by Latin American artists, and Pablo Picasso’s beloved paintings. Special exhibitions and films are included in admission.

MoMA is a great choice for families. Children ages 16 and under always receive free admission, and visits to the Art Lab and Creativity Lab are included with your visit.

The Museum of Modern Art was founded in 1929 by Lillie P. Bliss, Mary Quinn Sullivan, and Abby Aldrich Rockefeller. From an initial gift of eight prints and one drawing, The Museum of Modern Art’s collection has grown to approximately 200,000 paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, media and performance artworks, architectural models and drawings, design objects, and films.

What’s more, the museum offers plenty of shopping and dining options; from casual to fine dining.
