Description

About this tour

Since 1886, the Statue of Liberty has welcomed millions to New York City and the United States. You will be able to get up close and personal with this international symbol and learn the history behind the statue and how it came to be on Liberty Island.

The tour includes priority, reserved access to the islands, a professional, licensed NYC tour guide (only for selected option) who will guide you through both islands and access to the Statue of Liberty Museum and the National Museum of Immigration on Ellis Island.

On Ellis Island you will learn about the journey of the millions of immigrants who passed through the island from 1892-1924, arriving in America, in search of a better life.

Options:

Tour with guide: Enjoy this tour accompanied by your guide, who will explain everything you need to know during your visit.

Tour with audioguide: Thanks to an interactive application on your mobile phone, take advantage of the pre-recorded explanations and visit at your own pace.

With this option, the visit can take place between 8:30am and 1pm.

Tour with guide and audioguide: In addition to the classic visit with our guide, you will have the audioguide on your mobile phone 24 hours before the visit. This is very useful at times when the guide cannot explain (for example in museums) or on the ferry when it is very busy. It gives you more freedom and a lot more information.

Languages:

Audioguide is available in English and Spanish.

Important information

If you select one of the options with guide, due to site regulations your guide might not be able to accompany you inside the Museums. However, he will offer a complete explanation of what you will experience inside.

Please be advised that access to the ferry is not permitted with suitcases, scooters or any other bulky objects. Any passenger found carrying any of these items may be refused access and no liability will be accepted by the operator.
