Description

Bahrain is a sovereign island state located near the coast of the Persian Gulf. With its multicultural past and its oil wealth, it has become one of the biggest tourist attractions in the East, and a reference visit among all cruise excursions.

With more than a million and a half inhabitants, Bahrain will surprise us with its modern Arab culture in perfect contrast to its five thousand years of civilization. It is wonderful to get lost among the many buildings it has, considered World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, such as the National Museum, which contains remains and artifacts dating back more than 9,000 years, and is close to the famous Al-Fateh Mosque (one of the most great in the world). For those who love shopping, the capital Manama offers us its colorful souks, which coexist with luxurious shopping and business centers, such as the Bahrain World Trade Center.

Let yourself be transported back in time without leaving the 21st century. The welcoming inhabitants of Bahrain will become an unforgettable memory on your adventure. You will fully enjoy our tour,

the perfect complement to your cruise!

It was built in 1987 and named Ahmed Al Fateh in honor of the conqueror of Bahrain. The great dome atop the mosque is built entirely of fiberglass, weighs 60 tons, and is the largest fiberglass dome in the world; the marble used on the floor is Italian and the chandelier is from Austria.

Its sweet star is the Halwa, which is still made the traditional way in huge copper pots the same way it has been done for the last couple of centuries. The recipe uses butter, sugar, and water that is boiled for long periods of time; then flavors of rose water, cardamom, saffron are added and it is finished by decorating with almonds, pistachios and other nuts.

– Panoramic view of the King Fahd Causeway (King Fahad Causeway): It is a combined bridge and viaduct that connects Saudi Arabia with Bahrain. Construction started in 1981 and was completed in 1986. It has four lanes and a distance of 26 km long.
